Chris While is a female English Folksinger. She sings on her own as well as in many collaborations.

She appeared at Fairport's Cropredy Convention 2007 as part of the Liege and Lief line-up singing the part of Sandy Denny. At the Festival, Fairport Convention were awarded a a Gold Disc by Island Records for Liege and Lief. Chris While also appeared with Fairport Convention at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2006 when they received the award for Most Influential Folk Album Of All Time singing Matty Groves.
