Chris Rob

Chris Rob is an American musician, native to Chicago and active in New York City. He has a current release, "The Official Bootleg of Chris Rob" and has performed at well respected clubs, such as Jimmy's Uptown Café in Harlem, Manhattan's S.O.B.'s, Joe's Pub, and the world famous Blue Note. Chris has made several accomplishments like, opening act at the pre-Grammy brunch sponsored by attorney Londell McMillan and the Artist Empowerment Coalition. He was also featured on both the ASCAP and BMI showcases in lower Manhattan. Other credits on Chris' resumé include: Music Direct for Patti Austin, performing with an array of artists- Stevie Wonder, Prince and the NPG, Aretha Franklin, Roberta Flack, Faith Evans, El Debarge, Pete Rock & CL Smooth, Slum Village, Kanye West and Jill Scott. He recently recorded a commercial for the ABC Family Channel's holiday season, and is continuously recording music, he's working on his second CD, and you can currently find Chris Rob on tour with Columbia Records artist, John Legend.
