Chris Rix

Christopher Charles Rix (born May 1, 1981) is a former National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Filipino-American football quarterback for the Florida State Seminoles (FSU). Rix was the first four year starter at quarterback (2000-2004) in the school's history under coach Bobby Bowden and ranks second in every major passing category at FSU.[1]
Rix attended Bishop Amat Memorial High School and graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High School in 2000.
After his playing career Rix founded the Champion Training Academy, an organization designed to develop and mentor young athletes.[2] In 2005 he began his broadcasting career as a high school football analyst for FSN in Los Angeles. In 2006, he signed with CSTV, a division of CBS, to work as an analyst in their coverage of college football games.[3] He was the sideline reporter for FOX Sports for the 2006 Cotton Bowl between Texas Tech and Alabama as well as another Fox NFL game between the San Diego Chargers and Arizona Cardinals on December 31, 2006.
Chris Rix is currently a college football analyst for ABC. He is also a college football analyst for Fox Sports Radio in which he is often heard hosting FOX Gametime segments on weekends as a part of the Clear Channel Radio Affiliate.
In the spring of 2008, Rix was named as the varsity quarterback coach at Bishop Amat High School where he was a starting quarterback for 3 years.
