Chris Pennell (born 26 April 1987) is an english rugby union player. He currently plays for Worcester Warriors in the Guinness Premiership. He plays as a fullback.
Chris Pennell has burst onto the first team picture after an impressive pre-season that has seen him bury the memory of his injury problems in recent seasons.
Young full back Pennell, Worcester born and bred, suffered a broken and dislocated ankle and serious knee injury in his short rugby career. But he has battled back and is now eager to prove his worth in the top-flight.
The England Under-18 international has been praised by boss Mike Ruddock for his commitment and determination to his rugby development.
His main education was at Old Swinford Hospital School in Stourbridge. He was head boy there and his older brother Paul was also head boy two years before him. At the moment his brother, Jason is in year eight, Foley House. Chris captained the famous 1st XV rugby team. He is one of the most successful rugby players to come from OSH.
