Chris O'Neil (born 1994[1]) is an American actor. His only role to date is in the 2007 science fiction drama, The Last Mimzy.

O'Neil was born in Boulder, Colorado and attended Dennison Elementary. He now attends D'Evelyn Jr. Sr. High School as a seventh grader.[1] His family hired him an acting coach after he did well in school oral interpretation classes.[2] O'Neil subsequently won five silver and one bronze medals at amateur acting competitions during the summer of 2005 and was taken on by Cutler Management, who sent him to study acting.[1] Shortly after that, he was cast in The Last Mimzy, which was his second acting audition.[1] The film, in which he plays a leading role, opened on March 23, 2007.

O'Neil lives with his family in the foothills outside of Denver, Colorado, near the Rocky Flats Plant.[1] His favorite video game is The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II. As of March 2007, he is in sixth grade and attends school on set while filming.[1]

His older brother, Tyler, is a semi-active member of Boy Scout Troop 2003, based in Arvada, in which he holds the rank of Eagle Scout His family has been described as a "very Christian" family.[3]
