Chris Modrzynski is currently the Chief operating officer of the New Jersey Devils of the NHL.

He graduated from Seton Hall University with a B.Sc in business administration.

He joined the accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand in 1978, and became a CPA in 1981.
He spent six years with the National Broadcasting Company, where he worked in the network’s sports and entertainment divisions.
[edit] Sports career
Joined the Devils’ organization on January 1, 1987 as controller, and was promoted to vice president, finance in 1987–88, where his responsibilities included establishing and implementing the company’s financial policies. Was promoted to senior vice president in 1990- 91, and remained in that position through the 1996–97 season.
He also served the NBA’s New Jersey Nets as executive vice president for three years from 2001 – 2004.
He has won 3 Stanley Cups with the New Jersey Devils in 1995, 2000, and 2003.
