Christopher "Chris" Marsh (born 14 January 1970), was a British footballer who is best remembered for his time with Walsall football club. He signed from them on leaving school in the summer of 1986 and quickly established himself in the first team.

Marsh, who was born on the Brownswall Estate in Sedgley and attended Cotwall End Primary School as well as Dormston School, played in Walsall's Third Division campaign during the 1987-88 season, when they achieved promotion via the playoffs, and remained a regular choice following the appointment of Ray Graydon as manager a year later. He helped Walsall reach Division One in 1999 but was unable to stop them from going back down again the following season. A year after this setback, he helped them win promotion back to Division One at the first attempt.

In the summer of 2002, after helping Walsall pull off a late escape from relegation, he then endured the disappointment of two successive relegations, but retained his place in a demoralised side.

Marsh stayed on with Walsall and was a key player when they won promotion from the new Division Three in 1995. His contract expired in the summer of 1997 and he expressed his desire for a transfer. He later withdrew his request following the appointment of Jan Sorensen as was given a free transfer; this ended 16 years at the club, by which time he was their longest-serving player. During that time he had made over 400 appearances and contributed to no less than 4 promotions.

In March 2007, Marsh was appointed Assistant Manager of Sorrento FC (Perth, Western Australia) in the Western Australia State League under Steve Neville. Returned to the UK in late Summer 2007.

Organised a charity match in aid John Averis, one of four Warwickshire firefighters killed in a blaze on 2nd November 2007, which was played on 9th December 2007. Players such as David Kelly Richard Sneekes Ian Clarkson Colin Gibson even David Busst played.

Due to go out to PTUSA academy in Cape Cod, Boston, USA in April 2008 as the training acadmey co-ordinator.
