Chris Leonard (born Christopher William Leonard on March 13, 1979 in London, England), was the lead guitarist and backing vocalist in the British pop punk band Son of Dork.
He is currently dating Buffy Benson and the pair were credited in Matt Willis' thank you's on his debut album, Don't Let It Go to Waste.

Chris has done session work, recorded, toured and promoted with artists such as Mark Owen, Paolo Nutini, Delta Goodrem, Scratch (The Roots), Busted, Brian McFadden, Ross Copperman, David Sneddon and All Saints.

In addition to writing with Son of Dork, Chris has co-written songs for artists including Matt Willis, Paolo Nutini, David Gest, Ross Copperman, Delta Goodrem and more recently Brian McFadden.

Chris has been in many bands such The Starlings, Little Giants, Kudor 8, Stamford Amp, Speedway. In 2005, Chris joined a UK pop band with ex-Busted star James Bourne called Son Of Dork and released the hits Ticket Outta Loserville and Eddie's Song. They did various outdoor events around the UK and even headlined in the Sic Tour. In October 2007, Chris Leonard left Son Of Dork, "I've left but to be honest there wasn't really anything to leave. The band wasn't doing anything at all so obviously I wasn't prepared to sit around doing nothing all day when there's so much other stuff I can be doing so I moved on and I'm making new music."
