Chris Lawson (board games)

Chris Lawson is a designer of board games who has played an important role in keeping the 18XX hobby alive, having produced kits for many games. In addition to publishing those games under the XL Games label, he has designed games of his own as well.

- 1876 - Trinidad, published in 1996, designed by Peter Jacobi
- 1899 - China, published in 1996, designed by Dirk Clemens and Ingo Meyer
- 1851 - Tennessee, published in 1998, designed by Mark Derrick and Lawson
- 1849 - Sicily, published in 1998, designed by Federico Vellani
- 1826 - France, published in 2000, re-released in 2004 by Deep Thought Games, LLC, designed by David G.D. Hecht
In addition to the above, he and Steve Thomas have been working on 1848, set in the United States.
Lawson has been away from the 18XX hobby for a while and as of 2006 no longer publishes any games.
