Chris Knowles is the weekend weatherman on WPIX in New York City.[1]
He started at WPIX in June 2007. He was most recently with the Fox News Channel (FNC), from 2001 - 2007. He is also the husband of Kiran Chetry, one of the former hosts on the network's Fox & Friends Weekend program.
While at FNC, Knowles was a writer and producer for the Fox Report with Shepard Smith. In January 2005, he became a weather forecaster for the network. [2] During late summer of 2006, Knowles was moved as weather forecaster for the early morning time slot on Fox & Friends Weekend to the afternoon and early evening time slots on Fox News Live, The Big Story, and the Fox Report. He left the network in February 2007, after his wife's contract was not renewed.[3] Prior to joining Fox News, Chris anchored the prime time news at WICU-TV in Erie, Pennsylvania in the mid 1990's.

Knowles is married to Kiran Chetry, the co-anchor of CNN's morning news program, American Morning. On February 8, 2006, Chetry gave birth to the couple's daughter Maya Rose. Then, their first son, Christopher Chetry Knowles, was born on April 17, 2008.
