Chris Kennedy (born December 1, 1955) is an Australian AFI Award winning film director, writer and producer. He owns the film studio, Oilrag Productions.[1]Kennedy is a three-time Australian Film Institute Awards nominee[2] and is a Australian Writer's Guild Award winner.[3] As of 2006, he is one of Australia's most prominent directors after his friend Peter Butt. In a career that spans almost ten years, Kennedy's films have touched many themes and genres. During the 1990s Doing Time for Patsy Cline and A Man's Gotta Do.
