Chris Hawkins (coach)

Chris Hawkins is an American Football Coach. He graduated from Bucyrus Wynford High School in Ohio. He received his BA from Ohio Wesleyan University and his Masters from Ashland University. He is a Physical Education teacher.

After the 1998 season Hawkins left Wynford to take the Willard Head Coaching Position. Hawkins was then let go in the spring of 2005 season by a 3-2 vote by the Board of Education. Hawkins did not coach in 2005, and in 2006 he became an assistant coach for the Tiffin Columbian Tornadoes (Columbian went 10-2).

Galion, Willard, and Columbian all all part of the Northern Ohio League. Wynford is part of the North Central Conference

Hawkins' coached current NFL Quarterback Charlie Frye during the 1999 season. Hawkins led Willard to 3 of their 5 playoff appearances in shool history.
