[edit] Football career
[edit] Oldham Athletic
Hall made his debut for Oldham on October 10 2003 in Oldham's 2-2 away draw at Peterborough United. He made seven starts and 34 substitute appearances in the 2002-03 season, scoring only four goals in his career - all in the Fa Cup competition, and struggled to gain a starting place in the first team because of better quality strikers ahead of him pushing for regular starts.
Oldham wanted to set up a meeting with Hall in May 2007 after he went AWOL, failing to show up for treatment on a broken leg, with Oldham fining him two weeks' wages .[1] Hall retired from professional football, citing 'personal reasons', on 4 June 2007.[2] These are likely to be an attempt at celebrity which has so far only lead to acting work in a local theatre for one night.
On the 9th of July 2007 he was announced as a player for Conference North team Stalybridge Celtic as a semi pro. In his first season, he gained a reputation as a player who is dirty and uses his elbow to get rid of opponents, as proved during the televised Conference North Play-off final which left Barrow defender Paul Jones with a broken nose.
[edit] Big Brother
Hall was rumoured to be entering Big Brother 2007 in a special live show on 1 June 2007 but this never came about. He has also attempted to use BBC3 reality television to raise his profile.[3]
