Chris Garrett (born July 29, 1974) is a blogger and internet consultant. He lives in Yorkshire, England, UK.

Born in Calgary, Canada, Garrett is a popular blogger, technical book author, speaker and social media advocate, writing for several blogs such as The Blog Herald and collaborating with Darren Rowse and Brian Clark.
He was one of the founders of Performancing which at the height of its popularity was number 15 on the Technorati list of the top 100 most popular blogs and spawned the Performancing for Firefox plugin which was downloaded over half a million times before being spun off and renamed Scribefire. Performancing was sold to Splashpress Media in January 2007 for an undisclosed sum[1].
His latest book is ProBlogger: Secrets for Blogging Your Way to a Six-Figure Income with Darren Rowse (ISBN 978-0-470-24667-2) and he will be speaking in May 2008 at SOBCon08.
