Chris Field is a United Kingdom based rock and roll singer/songwriter and recording artist who was discovered by music producer Bob Rose while on tour with Julian Lennon.

Before crossing the channel to pursue his musical career. Chris Field's early musical days were spent playing guitar in Vancouver, Canada in various ACID ROCK groups. Field's then moved to Toronto, Canada and built a name for himself in the city as one of the wildest psychedelic guitar players on the Canadian music scene.

Chris Field was signed to F.O.D Records in 2004 and recorded his debut at Rockfield studios in Wales and Air studios in London. Fields debut is titled "Powis Square" after the infamous West London block.

Powis Square includes special guests Sam Brown, Blondie bassist Nigel Harrison and Robert Plant guitarist Robbie Blunt.

Chris Field has been cast by U.K director Tony Van Ende to play the lead role in a film based on events in the life and times of psychedelic renegade Syd Barrett. Preproduction starts this spring in London.
