Christopher W. Creighton is a college football coach in the United States. As of December 2007, he ranks fourth among all active NCAA Division III football coaches in career winning percentage.[2]

Creighton's first head coaching job was at Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas. As head coach, his teams produced 32 wins and 9 losses from 1997 through the 2000 season. In 1997 and 2000, his teams won the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference championship. He was the 26th head coach for the Braves and he held that position for four seasons, from 1997 until 2000. His coaching record at Ottawa was 32 wins, 9 losses, and 0 ties. As of the conclusion of the 2007 season, this ranks him fourth at Ottawa in total wins and first at Ottawa in winning percentage (0.780). [3]

At Ottawa, he produced what has been called "one of the greatest single season turnarounds in NAIA history" in 1997. He "..inherited a team that posted a 1-8 record the previous season, then finished 9-2 en route to capturing its first Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference title since 1972."[4]

Creighton was the 31st head coach for the Wabash College Little Giants located in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He has held that position since the 2001 season and is the 31st football coach at the school. His career coaching record at Wabash was 63 wins, 15 losses, and 0 ties. This ranks him third at Wabash in total wins and fifth at Wabash in winning percentage (0.808). [5]

After the 2007 season concluded at Wabash, Creighton was named the head football coach at Drake University ini Des Moines, Iowa.[6] He was named the 25th head football coach at Drake University during a December 22, 2007 news conference[7]

Creighton earned his bachelor's degree in 1991 at Kenyon College and received his master's degree from Concordia University in 1993.[8]
