Chris Boniol (born December 9, 1971, in Alexandria, Louisiana (the seat of Rapides Parish) is a former professional American football placekicker in the National Football League. He played first at Alexandria Senior High School and then college football at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, the seat of Lincoln Parish. In the NFL, Boniol played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1994 to 1996 (winning Super Bowl XXX), the Philadelphia Eagles from 1997 to 1998, and the Chicago Bears in 1999. In 1996, Boniol tied the former NFL record for most field goals in a game with seven. He is the only player ever to kick 7 field goals of 28 yards or more in a single game. He currently operates the Chris Boniol Kicking Camp held in various locations, principally in Texas and Louisiana.
