Chris Bennion is a Scottish football player who currently plays with Dundalk FC.

He started his career with Edinburgh Celtic.
He made his debut for Dundalk FC against Sligo Rovers in 2004 in a game which Dundalk won 1-0.
Bennion is a former Scotland schoolboys' international who was signed by Middlesbrough, but only made one appearance in the League Cup against Macclesfield Town in September 2000 following an injury crisis at the Riverside Stadium. In May 2002 he made the move to League of Ireland giants Shelbourne. In January 2004 he chose Dundalk ahead of Longford Town and signed for the Lillywhites under Trevor Anderson after failing to claim the number one jersey at Shels.
