Category talk:Christopher Wren buildings
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Someone please change the Picture of the Chrisopher Wren Building (at W&M) below. Although it is probable that the building was designed by Wren, it was severely damaged in a fire in the 1800s, and was restored the building we have presently pictured, including the uncharacteristic addition of the ialianite towers on the front of the building. The building was (again) severely damaged in a fire, and the towers were removed, and the building was restored to something closely resembling the original design. The picture on this page should either be of the original building or the current building, as the intermediary one in the 1800s certianly does not reflect the architectural style of Christopher Wren. --Orang55 00:20, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
