[edit] Harrison Act
The harrison narcotics act article, as you questioned its constitutionality, I found a case that partially challenged it regarding to medical practice, Linder v. United States. Wooyi 05:03, 2 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Number of animals in shelters - Animal Testing
Well, unless you think that statistics about the number of animals used for food or for fur or in circuses would also be appropriate. The actual number of animals used makes sense to include but not a comparison to an entirely different subject. I will revert back unless you have some reason for including this irrelevant data.Bob98133 18:18, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- For starters, what you added now says that 10% of euthanized animals are used for research, although I'm sure that's not what you meant. Why would some other use of animals clarify documented numbers? This article is about Animal Testing, not other animal use. The shelter numbers make no sense whatsoever, anymore than # of cars produced or general population numbers. Bob98133 18:33, 19 August 2007 (UTC)
- OK - I see. You think the euthansia of the same type of animal is what makes this info relevant. That's really abstract and just not relevant. It also just doesn't make sense to use a comparison that is as controversial as the article. Adding that sentence gives no better understanding of the topic whatsoever unless you assume that all readers have a better appreciation of shelter death statistics with which to make the comparison. [edit] Chromatin Structures Image
Thanks for the notice re: the mistake in the chromatin structures image. You've got a keen eye for detail! I thought I should say though, that it's only by chance that I noticed that a comment had been made - if you notice a mistake like that in the future, it might be an idea to contact the author(s) directly so that the mistake doesn't slip by unnoticed (I bet it'd have been a long, long time before this was corrected if I hadn't happened to take a look at my watchlist (for the first time in months!). I've finished correcting it and I'm uploading the corrected version now:
