Iranian websites are legally not protected under International copyright laws because Iran is not a member of WTO, nor a signatory to the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works. (see list here), and Iran does not correspondingly adhere to International Copyright laws itself. Accordingly, Iran officially copies and distributes pirated copies of Microsoft Products, Hollywood Movies, and various Published material.
