[edit] what on earth?

The notion that "Chocolate Cake" was not a hit in the US because of its supposedly insulting lyrics is ridiculous. It's just not a very catchy tune.

It was successful everywhere else. It wasn't successful there (according to Rolling Stone, Billboard and even commented upon by Robert Christgau) primarily due to its inflammatory remarks. I can find references to each of these allegations I'm making, so I'm reverting the edit and I'll find the refs I need. --lincalinca 04:07, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Well, then, can you cite these references? The Wikipedia entries for Crowded House are so dumb they are actually embarassing.

Please elaborate? What's "dumb" about the Crowded House entries? --lincalinca 01:34, 13 August 2007 (UTC)
