[edit] Novel versus Movie
Cburnett you made an edit and said: "This novel box takes up way to much space to be at the top" ... but I disagree with you. I think that the movie is dominating this page and the book is getting little notice. I'm not going to move the Novel box back up to the top, but maybe you can suggest something that doesn't make the book the secondary topic of this page ... it was a novel first, after all. Just my 2 cents and an explanation for the way I had formatted the page. --Talia 16:24, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)
- I understand where you're coming from, but that box takes up a lot of page real estate. I think you should split the movie off into its own article and leave the novel box at the bottom of the article (its still quite intrusive). Cburnett 16:31, Apr 19, 2005 (UTC)

- Good idea ... I'm just not sure how to create a different article with the same title ... I'm still new to this. Can you point me to a tutorial? --Talia 16:36, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)

- Never mind, I followed the example from the Harry Potter book pages. They added a (movie) at the end of the title. So I did this too. I hope this edit is okay ... if not it can always be reverted :) --Talia 19:05, 19 Apr 2005 (UTC)

- Okay all done, that took a while, but it was neat to learn all of that. Thanks :) --Talia 00:09, 20 Apr 2005 (UTC)

- Heh, no problem. Just for your future information, it is generally expected to "fix" things when breaking articles up or moving articles. Cburnett 02:19, Apr 20, 2005 (UTC)

I think you could show the DVD reference for the film, too. One interesting point is the major difference between the film and the book. A completely new character (The Mayor)is inserted into the film, to save American objections to the portrayal of a Priest doing anything wrong. (In the context of the Catholic Bishops and child abuse more recently discovered, of course, this is a tad ironic). Cb@beeb.net 15.24 01 Nov 05
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:JoanneHarris Chocolat.jpg
Image:JoanneHarris Chocolat.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:58, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
