Chowlahiriyur

Chowlahiriyur is a village in Kadur Taluk Chikkamagaluru District comes in the way to Hosadurga from Kadur and is about 18 km from Hosadurga. Population is around 4,500. Agriculture is the main occuption. The village has the famous Shree Someshwara temple. It also consists of pre-university education, hospital, hostel and library. Karnataka Bank has a branch here.
