Chota Nagpur dry deciduous forests

The Chota Nagpur dry deciduous forest is a tropical dry broadleaf forest ecoregion in eastern India. It is located in the Chota Nagpur Plateau in the states of Jharkhand, Orissa and Chhattisgarh.

Forests range from dry to wet. It is also swampy in some places. In some regions it is made up of grasslands of bamboo and bushes.

Tigers, Asian elephants and bears are some of the animals found here.
