Chondromodulin

Chondromodulin is a protein with antiangiogenic function, especially the subtype chondromodulin I[1], which is a Cartilage-Derived Angiogenesis Inhibitory Factor.
The antiangiogenic effect may be an inhibition of basement membrane degradation.
