Cholmondeley Children's Home a children's home near Christchurch, New Zealand. Its mission is to provide quality short-term or emergency residential care for children, usually between the ages of 3-12 years, and support for their families. The home has an important role in helping troubled families, needing support for parents with problems that are disrupting or preventing the proper care of their children. The home is a registered Child and Family Support Service [1], and is managed by Family and Community Services (FACS) as part of the New Zealand Ministry of Social Development[2].

The home is located in Governor's Bay at the head of Lyttelton Harbour. The home was founded in 1925 as a gift to the region of Canterbury by Hugh Heber Cholmondeley.
