Chodové

Chodové (Walkers) was a group of people in Bohemia, mainly in the surroundings of Domažlice, Tachov and Přimda. They were displaced from some Polish region (Silesia?) because for guarding of borders between Bohemia and Bavaria. They were direct servants of the king with significant privileges that excludes them from common inhabitants. Their descendants are still living in surroundings of Domažlice. They are speaking with very special dialect of Czech language and enjoy unique and strong traditions and have some special music instruments.
