Chloe Webb

Chloe Webb (born 25 June 1956) is an American actress. Webb was born in Greenwich Village, Manhattan, New York. She grew up in Syracuse, New York.

She played the female lead character in the 1986 feature film Sid and Nancy, which revolved around the life of the Sex Pistols bassist, Sid Vicious, and his girlfriend Nancy Spungen.

Webb also played the part of Mona Ramsey in the 1994 television adaptation of Armistead Maupin's novel Tales of the City. The role of Mona was recast for the subsequent sequel, More Tales of the City. According to the series' author Armistead Maupin:

Chloe Webb had expressed enthusiasm about playing Mona again, but she backed out when the show's producers declined her request to be paid more than the rest of the cast. (The show was operating under a 'favored nations agreement' that required leading cast members to be paid equally.) While everyone felt Chloe was important to Tales, she was not more important than Laura Linney, Thomas Gibson, Billy Campbell or Barbara Garrick.[1]

She may be better known to a larger American audience as a USO volunteer in the television series China Beach and as Danny DeVito's onscreen girlfriend in the 1988 movie Twins.
