Chloe Dolandis

Bicoastal performer Chloe Dolandis is the co-host of Nickelodeon’s new Friday Night Slimetime, airing Friday nights on Nickelodeon between 7:00 and 9:00 P.M., EST. A third year honor student at Florida Atlantic University, she is also working towards an Arts and Humanities Interdisciplinary Studies degree.

Born in New York and raised in North Miami Beach and Boca Raton by her dancer/actress/singer mother and musician/teacher father, Dolandis began studying dance at age five. She entered the world of musical theatre in second grade at a community theatre summer camp, turning pro at age ten in a production of Annie Warbucks. Throughout high school she starred in musical theatre productions, winning local and state awards as a member of the International Thespian Society. She was also the first place winner of the Boca Raton/South Florida Chapter’s Musical Theatre Competition for the National Society of Arts and Letters.

As well as performing in live theatre, Dolandis hosted many Boca Raton events including “Battle of the Bands” and “Teen Cabaret” for Boca Raton Educational TV. Along with appearances on shows which include Nickelodeon’s SPLAT!, Showtime at the Apollo, Fame and The Discovery Channel’s New Detectives, she provided the English voice for numerous foreign films and cartoon series.

An accomplished singer, Dolandis has performed the national anthem for the Florida Marlins, the Miami Heat, the Florida Panthers, the ESPN Firefighter Combat Challenge, the Andy Roddick Charity Foundation and for Florida Atlantic University for their July 4th 2006 celebration. She recently recorded a demo of original Pop/R&B tunes with award winning writer-producer Steve Dorff, who has had fifteen top ten hits, including Celine Dion’s “Miracle” and Kenny Rogers’ “Through the Years.” She is also currently recording two songs written by Allan Rich, the composer of Whitney Houston’s “Run to You” and NSYNC’s “I Drive Myself Crazy.”

Upon winning the first ever Rising Star competition Dolandis celebrated January 13th, 2004 as “Chloe Dolandis Day”, proclaimed by the mayor of Boca Raton for her win, as well as her expansive community service efforts with Boca Raton’s Promise, BRET and Teen Cabaret.

Dolandis is currently involved hosting and producing college campus tour videos with YOUniversity.tv.

When she is not performing or studying, Dolandis enjoys vegetarian cooking, crocheting, yoga, belly dancing and drawing. She also has 1,000 pig collectibles.
