Chloe was a fictional character in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street.
Born in late 2006, Chloe was dumped on Eileen Grimshaw on Christmas Day 2006 by teenage mother Emma played by Stephanie Waring. This is the first time Jason Grimshaw (who thought he was Chloe's father) had heard about the newborn baby. She was originally named Holly by the Grimshaws after the Christmas festivities, her real name was revealed later in the plot.
Jason initially did not wish to be a father to Chloe, however he came round to the idea when Sarah Platt told him they could get back together and be a family along with her daughter Bethany.
After seeing reports of the murder trial of Tracy Barlow, Chloe's mum, Emma, realises that it was Charlie Stubbs who is Chloe's dad not Jason. It seems that Charlie gave a false name when he had a one night stand with Emma. When Emma dropped Chloe at the Grimshaws' on Christmas Day, she did not see Jason, only his mum Eileen and therefore genuinely believed that she had left her daughter with her father.
Emma decided she wanted Chloe back, and with help from Social Services was able to get Eileen to hand over her daughter on 25 April 2007.
