[edit] Re: Japanese snack foods question

Hello Chimene, How do you do? First of all, "coated peanut" that you mentioned, may be called mamegashi (豆菓子; bean snacks/confectionery)[1] in Japanese language. In this case, the beans of not only a peanut but others also serve as materials. Moreover, coating is various, like you said.

Probabry, "Kasugai - Roasted Mix Nuts" is this[2], and It is written to the package as "豆いとこ" (Mame Itoko; product's name) - "KASUGAI ROASTED MIX NUTS" - "春日井 豆菓子" (Kasugai mamegashi). Incidentally, Kasugai is producing various mamegashi in Japan.[3][4]

Although the circulation situation that you lived is not known, I think that the thing nearest to your image may be found by these links. I hope that this information is helpful. --Nightshadow28 (talk) 14:42, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

P.S. The links which I showed includes the Japanese language page. Please challenge the difficulty by love, courage, hope, and machine translation.[5] --Nightshadow28 (talk) 14:42, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
