[edit] Portal:Rock n' Roll

Hey, I was checking out your userpage and noticed you enjoy different types of rock music. I am currently recruiting Wikipedians to refine and structurize Portal:Rock n' Roll, and I think you'd be a good contributer. Portal:Rock n' Roll would have stuff like info on different types of rock, Featured Artist/Band, Current Events, and good stuff like that. Leave me a message on my talk page if you are interested. Well, it's now called Portal:Rock and Roll, and it's basically done. Click on the link and you'll see that it has stuff like current events, featured band/musician, and good stuff like that. However, the portal needs maintainers. They'd do stuff like update the sections, etc. Glad you're interested. --Osbus 23:44, 12 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Minax.png

Thanks for uploading Image:Minax.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:57, 1 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Van halen 2.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Van halen 2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 20:55, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Hello, ChildOfTheMoon83! I'd like to call your attention to the WikiProject Germany and the German-speaking Wikipedians' notice board. I hope their links, sub-projects and discussions are interesting and even helpful to you. If not, I hope that new ones will be.

[edit] AfD nomination of Richard Fraser

I have nominated Richard Fraser, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Richard Fraser (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. B.
