[edit] use of template

since this template is being used (rightly or wrongly) for people articles, it was resulting in the Category:Chicano being wrongly added to people articles (see the purpose of the Chicano category). Accordingly, I deleted this category from this template. Thanks. Hmains 02:39, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fork

This template (formerly {{Chicano2}}) and Template:Chicano created a fork, so, as Template:Chicano was only transcluded by two articles, I've moved it onto this template's talk page (click [show] below) in case anyone wishes to use it. (Personally, I like the image it includes, but perhaps that was removed in {{Chicano2}} for the sake of height.)  Regards, David Kernow (talk) 08:14, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Update

Have now found another fork, Template:Chicano3, not transcluded by any articles. As above, it's now deleted but copied here:

[edit] This template

It is very cumbersome ... --evrik (talk) 15:05, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

  • Can we do away with this, or change to a horizontal template? --evrik (talk) 16:33, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
