[edit] Copyvio
Excuse me for any ignorance on my part as this is the first time I'm seeing copyvio in action. I guess I don't understand why you just don't start a new article from scratch instead of tagging this with the copyvio template and requesting that no one edit the page to fix the problem. Especially in this case, I just don't see any sort of reversion war going on that would require anyone to lock the article in such a manner and request any sort of review from the larger community. How long are we not supposed to edit the article for? It seems trivial enough to create a new page from scratch using the facts presented in the original even if you didn't know anything about the subject. --Stacey Doljack Borsody 14:38, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- Minor addition, your source of the copyright is incorrect. Asian Week holds the copyright on the article, not Door Dog. --Stacey Doljack Borsody 14:42, 16 May 2006 (UTC)
- The original article was a 100% cut and pasted from a copyrighted source, so I followed protocol. I was going to suggest you create Chirgilchin/Temp, but I see you already have. If you would like to be bold and replace the copyvioed text (and warning) with your own article, I will certainly not object. Thanks!Econrad 03:21, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Merge
Um, just delete the temp page please. --Stacey Doljack Borsody 06:28, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- It would appear this has been actioned - I will remove the merge message. Matthuxtable 10:04, 14 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, my mistake, temp hasn't been deleted so will revert and request deletion of temp page Matthuxtable
