Unfortunately I can't get to directly check that this is the official list of the Chinese Tea Culture Research Centre, if anyone can, please do so. --Iateasquirrel 09:45, 13 July 2005 (UTC) There seems to be great disagreement on which teas make the Famous List and I am beginning to wonder whether there is, or ever was, a definitive list. On a specific note, I've seen references to Puer tea originating in the 1950s or later, so it would be one of the youngest of the Chinese teas. I will try to find sourcing on the topic.
