[edit] Shielding problems
In the DS9 episode Tears of the Prophets in which the Federation and the Klingon and Romulan empires invade the Chin'toka system, when the OWP's come online and begin firing at the vessels, there were no shield impacts, the weapons detonated directly on the outer hull of the ships. Is it actually possible that the ships in that battle fleet that were engaging a system didn't activate their shields? Or was it an error by the writers? 72.92.153.26 22:47, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Probably an error by the graphics artists (or the ships were inside the shields, or the phasers were so powerful they made no visible shield impact).
