Talk:Chief Veterinary Officer (United Kingdom)

[edit] Possible superfluous refs
Given that a ref has been found which lists all Chief Vets past & present, I thought it would be OK to remove these two refs. Given that removing refs is an unusual step, and that others may disagree, I'm noting that here.
- Archives of AnimalNet: Disease Crisis "spiralling out of control". Centre for Safe Food at the University of Guelph, Ontario, Canada (21 March 2001). Retrieved on 18 September 2007.
- Chief Medical Officer - brief biography of Debby Reynolds, includes a photograph. DEFRA. Retrieved on 15 August 2007.

- That is not so bad, because there are separate pages for these vets where the same references can be found. Probably best keep the references, if the vet has not got their own page. Snowman 09:22, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ireland
I'e also removed the reference to Ireland as (assuming the Republic is what was meant) it's not part of the UK, and so should be covered in a separate article. If Northern Ireland has a Chief Vet, that should of course be covered here. SP-KP 18:53, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- I meant Northern Ireland; my assumption is that all the devolved regions have a chief vet. The section can be returned if any names of the chief vets for Northern Ireland are found. Snowman 20:03, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have found one name by an internet search for CVO Northern Ireland, but there is probably a better reference to cite. Snowman 20:29, 19 September 2007 (UTC)
