The civil parish is a larger area than the village, as was (and is) the ecclesiastical parish. I attempting to include this difference in all the entries with the article List of civil parishes in Kent, including within each article the separate sections for each. Some parishes are named after two villages by the way (cp Ash-cum-Ridley Peter Shearan 07:51, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
