This article states that Chicken Cottage was founded in Croydon, but on the wiki-entry for Wembley, Middlesex, it states that it was founded in Wembley...

Yes the information on this page is correct and it was founded in Croydon. I was going to become a franshiser for Chicken Cottage and opted against it, but i did do a lot of research and was in contact with its head office which is how i learnt a lot more about the company.

Surely this wikipedia entry is a joke. The article shows Key people as Lou Gosset Jr Chief Executive officer, Lou Diamond Philips Chief Financial Officer, Mario Von Peebles Chief Operating Officer. Furthermore it states that there are 187,000 employees world wide. Also it reads like a piece of promotional literature for this company.

Most of this article needs re-writing. Hold on, most of this article needs deleting. Deckchair 12:48, 1 August 2007 (UTC)

i really don't see how the names of individuals can be seen as a joke and i don't see any reason why a multinational company wouldn't have that amount of employees. Just because Chicken cottage doesn't operate In North America (extensively) there is no reason to dispute that.

Thank you for your unsigned comments. Have you tried searching wikipedia for who those names actually are? Do a search and then you may understand why i state that it is a joke. If you need help, they all seem to be famous actors/celebrities. As for the number of employees try doing some simple maths. Divide the number of staff by the number of branches and then tell me that there is no reason to dispute the figure. signing a comment really only has any use if you are actually are a "regular" editor as i'm not whether i sign or not is inconsequential. The store numbers are something that I assumed were untrue rather than the amount of employees, considering the growth of many other franchises in the middle east I wouldn't be surprised if there were indeed a vast number of chicken cottage stores in that region.

If the figures are based on assumptions then it is probably best they are removed. Deckchair 09:03, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

The official Chicken Cottage website does not show any stores located in Denmark or The Netherlands therefore i will remove these from the list. Deckchair (talk) 10:05, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
