I think its way too focused on criminological aspects rathen then sociological ones.
[edit] Differential social organisation
"Thomas defined social disorganisation as "the inability of a neighbourhood to solve its problems together" which suggested a level of social pathology and personal disorganisation, so the term, "differential social organisation" was preferred by many, and may have been the source of Sutherland's (1947) Differential Association Theory"
Is this fair to say? I was under the impression that the term differential social organisation came into usage in light of the work of sutherland rather than the other way around. Im open to being wrong but would like clarification if it is out there. Martinq22 (talk) 18:11, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
