Where did the system connect to the surface? --SPUI (talk) 06:03, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- I don't think it did, and it could only be accessed by elevator. I could be mistaken though. --MasterA113 13:33, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
Is there anyone actively following / contributing to this page? If so, would there be any objections in migrating the non-first-person content from Phillip J. O'Keefe's Chicago Tunnel Company website onto this page? (I am in contact with him and he informs me that he abandoned the site in 2003 and is surprised Ameritech hasn't deleted it yet.) Double Top Secret, I would say that you should go ahead and put the information up, and include a link to his page (or an archive.org copy) in the references.Nlaporte 12:52, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] What?
In 1912, the Illinois Tunnel Company, descendant of Illinois Telephone and Telegraph Company was reorganized and renamed the Chicago Tunnel Company, and all of the telephone cables were removed from the tunnels.
This makes little sense in English. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.42.129.49 (talk) 19:53, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Terrorism Scare? What?
If there's no sources on that claim of a terrorism scare and the tunnels being sealed, I recommend it be removed from the article. I couldn't find any sources on that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BlueJ774 (talk • contribs) 07:58, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
