[edit] Removing Chiang's legacy

I understand that some editors want to insert information about how the DPP wants to get rid of the legacy of Chiang Ka Shek in Taiwan. But this is not the article for such information. If it is not specifically related to the statues, it doesn't belong in this article. Such information belong in articles like Politics of the Republic of China or Democratic Progressive Party. Please insert it at those articles. Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 06:45, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

It is related to the statues because it explains how Chen Shui-bian views them as an unwanted connection to China and that Chiang Kai-shek's grandson as well as Ma Ying-jeou don't want the removal. Alex678 23:23, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
That's more a topic for the articles on Chen Shui Bian and Ma Ying Jeou. What we need more of in this particular article is information that's actually unrelated to the removal controversy, because there's more to these statues than just the controversy. [edit] 蔣公銅像公園

Very necessary article, don't delete. Perhaps one day change the article name to the English of 蔣公銅像公園 or whatever the official name of that place is. My mom says:

Most amazing sculpture park. Impressive very good art. Looks like all
of them are by same sculptor?-- He made them all as his comment on
Chiang Kai Shek to appear as a great humanist (too bad Chiang wasn't)
But the art is still very good.
Is there a Wiki article comment on these art pieces?

So I looked for and found this article and will tell her. Jidanni (talk) 21:39, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
