Hello, I just came across your photo of chiffonade:

I'm one of the thousands of volunteer editors at the English-language Wikipedia and write articles about various foods. I've written an article about chiffonade, but we don't currently have a photo. I wonder if you might give your permission for your photo to be uploaded to that article, as the representative photo for this culinary technique.

As per Wikipedia's policies, it would need to be released under a "free" license such as the Creative Commons, meaning that the photo could be reused by anyone for any reason (including educational, commercial, or any other use), although it would be specified that credit is given to you and a link made to your Flickr page. Wikipedia is now the eighth most visited website in the world, so you'd probably get a lot of views.
Would you please let me know if you'd be amenable to this? Thank you, and all the best,
--

I would be happy for you to use my photograph (http://www.flickr.com/photos/lifeflix/1121555106/) to represent the culinary technique on Wikipedia - with the understanding that a credit and a link to my Flickr page would be included.
Best,
Marichelle
