This is a photograph of the Chicago River. Just further west (right), it is being dyed green for the St. Patrick's Day celebration. Some of the dye has made its way upstream and into view. Across the river, the triple-decker Wacker Drive is seen just as the upper and service levels are ending. Behind it is a glimpse of the construction at Lakeshore East. In the foreground is Centennial Fountain.

I, Knowledge Seeker, took this photograph on March 12, 2005. It was taken near the intersection of McClurg Court and North Water Street. The view faces south.
