This article is about the former town in Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan. A special ward in central Tokyo has the same name, see Chiyoda, Tokyo. For other places with the same name, see Chiyoda (disambiguation).
Chiyoda (千代田町; -machi) was a town located in Niihari District, Ibaraki, Japan. On March 28, 2005 the town merged with the neighboring town of Kasumigaura forming the city of Kasugimaura and no longer exists as an independent municipality.
As of 2003, the town had an estimated population of 26,943 and a density of 555.53 persons per km². The total area was 48.50 km².
