Chip Deffaa is a jazz historian, author and journalist.
Deffae is the jazz critic of the New York Post and he has contributed to Jazz Times, The Mississippi Rag, England's Crescecndo and Entertainment Legacy. He has also written several books which include Swing Legacy, Voices of the Jazz Age, In the Mainstream, Traditionalists and Revivalists in Jazz, Jazz Veterans and Blue Rhythms.
