Chinteni (Hungarian: Kajántó) is a commune in Cluj County, Romania.

According to the 2002 census, Romanians made up 78.49% of the population, Hungarians made up 20.06% and Roma made up 1.39%. In the commune both Romanian and Hungarian languages are used in public signage, education, justice and access to public administration.
