Chinnu Senthilkumar, (1969 - ) is an upcoming Executive in India's Silicon Valley in Bangalore. He has been associated with Semiconductor Industry for the last 15 years in key roles. He is currently the Director of SanDisk Corporation, India Operations, located in Bangalore.
He received his Primary and High School education in Namagiripettai, in Namakkal District, Tamil Nadu. He belongs to the gounder community which is known for its entreprunership. He received his Undergraduate Engineering degree from Guindy Engineering College, Anna University, Chennai, Tamil Nadu and his Masters in Electrical Engineering from University of Utah, Salt Lake City, USA.
During his undergraduate days in Chennai, he received "Young Scientist" award from President of India in 1991, for his innovative Electronic design along with his fellow students. He was employed with Intel Corporation, Folsom, California for several years and had come up with many ideas in Semiconductor design and received several patents from US Patent Office. He is one of the key contributor into Universal Serial Bus USB 2.0 Specification development in his days in Intel Corporation.
