Chinnakuyili (Tamil: சின்னக்குயிலி) is a small village situated in Coimbatore district in the state of Tamilnadu, India (Bharat). Chinnakuyili village lies in the outskirts of Coimbatore City. It structures to the length & breadth - 3x5 km. It has a population of 1264 men and 1125 women. Chinnakuyili is a minor Panchayat included in Kallappalayam major Panchayat, with large source of income collected from the land taxes. People in this village are engaged in agriculture business and cultivation of maize, vegetables, cotton and coconuts. Most of the people are farmers mostly having cows and engaging in doing milk business. Milk farming is a hobby for all agriculture people for centuries in this village. Chinnakuyili village is also known for its pleasant climate, nice people, peaceful atmosphere and nice wind flow.

Most of the population are in lower, middle class people earning their living on daily / monthly wages by working in near by agricultural fields, textile / spinning mills, engineering workshops and small industries.
People in this village are now started giving important to quality education for their children. Most of the current youths in this village are well educated and strong enough to compete with the rest of the fellow Indians and even in global level. Current youths are strong enough to take up the responsibility in their shoulders and ready to meet the challenges what ever comes on the way with brave and courage with the grace of Chinnakuyili, Lord Sri Mariamman. Mariamman gives good health, sound mind, body and prosperity for the whole village. Every year in May-June month whole village will celebrate Lord Mariamman festival for a week.

Water resources are very limited and is highly dependent on every year mansoon. This village has many broiler forms meant for meat to Coimbatore and other places in tamilnadu and near by states and a spinning mill. Wind velocity here will be high throughout the year. Few private companies in Coimbatore and in national level have installed their wind mills. Approximately around 40 - 50 wind mills are installed so far.

Chinnakuyili village lacks basic infrastructural facilities and facing many problems. This village don't have enough street lights and drainage facilities. People need to move with darkness in street during nights. It is very danger because there are no proper drainage facilities as well. Very sad to say that this village Panchayat is very bad in administration and very badly involved in corruption. Also this village does not have any primary health center no government / private doctors to take care of people health. Above needs to be addressed immediately. Whole village requests Tamilnadu state government officials, people representatives and respected MLA's and MPs and our Panchayat to make this village a better living place for the next generation.

Youngsters in Chinnakuyili are enjoying their free time by playing traditional Indian games and performing social works. Chinnakuyili is known for its rich Hindu tradition and many of the youths are participating in Hindu religious get together in Lord Mariamman temple premises every week Sunday morning 7:00 AM IST. People meet to perform Yoga, Surya Namaskar, physical exercises and fantastic small games which will be enjoyed by every one at all age levels.

Coimbatore is near by city and it is well connected by air, train and buses from all major part of Tamilnadu and in India. To reach Chinnakuyili from Coimbatore city town buses are available from Coimbatore town bus stand (Gandhipuram). Buses are available only at specified time and limited services are available. The town bus numbers are 108A, 108 and 69B.
